Everyone likes to win. Winning can look different from one context to the next, but it always happens when a team of people reaches their goals and accomplishes their objectives. Whether in athletics, business, or a family, the effect of success on a team is unmistakable. Soccer teams, coworkers, and even volunteers for nonprofits have more fun and stay committed to the process better when they feel like they’re winning. It’s not rare to quit a losing team, but we almost never quit winning teams.
